Thank You , i have been reading up on this junior warrant points scheme and it quite confusing haha , i do not know how to tally his points up and if you get any points for 2nd or 3rd ? i have read he would get 3 points for coming 2st but does he get any other points for getting best puppy in breed ? and if you can count dogs that have been enterted but not shown up to the show ? Any help would be great x

3 points for a First at a championship show, nothing for placings
and only 1 point if it is an open show and then only if at least 3 dogs turn up in the class.

awww, well done, there's hope for my pup yet then!  Just out of interest, what "worked" for you?
- By NatalieH [gb] Date 04.03.11 12:20 UTC
Aww thanks maddog , well i had tried stringing him ( and he made some very strange noises at me ) and baiting him ( but he lost interest in all foods ) and tried the clicker , and now what i have been doing with him is to drop stack him ( i think that is what it is called ) and just place my finger under his chin. This way he will let me do absolutley anything to him :) were as he would moove when i tried to arrange his feet before. Once he has stood for me i then priase him by tappin him on the belly and giving him a lil rub then giving him fresh chicken as his treat.
Before i found out what he liked he would run with me but then stop when the chain was right under his chin , now i just loosen it and hold chicken in my hand an before i go to moove let him smell my hand so he knows the chicken is in here. This way his tail goes up and he looks really interested and eager for the chicken !
I will admitt it has took me what seems like forever to get to know what he likes , i have tried all kinds of bait from cheese , liver , liver cake , jwb training bites, hot dog sausage, ham etc and he just wasnt interested, untill i tried the chicken lol
It was Starryeyes from this site who reccommend the stacking technique to me, and thanks to her it has worked a treat ! x
