Can anyone please recommend a good dry shampoo for a pup who gets very stressed in the bath :-( ?
TIA

Batiste I think it's called used to be able to get it from Boots.

You can wet a towel with warm water and put over her if she'll accept that?  I know Pom people used to do that years ago rather than bath to often.

Thanks Diane, will try that, not sure why she gets so worked up!

Now that's really worth knowing, one of mine goes nuts in the bath and my back really feels it after arguing with 22 kilos of dog freaking out in the bath :). Dry shampoo for him then!

Weirdly, he is the cleanest of the lot of them even though he gets bathed the least!

Its strange how some dogs seem to be self cleaning. My CED girl is  white and red and can get filthy.Pop her in her crate for 30 mins and like magic comes out clean.Where does it go?
Whal do a dry shampoo, and I use one as a back up at shows but will have to check which one it is.

When muddy she is self cleaning :-) but she has got long trousers and being a girl!

Well, it's not entirely dry, but no water on doggy required :-) Just a damp towel. Cowboy Magic Greenspot Remover! As recommended to me by a CD moderator. I was very sceptical, but it's very, very good. It removes ... fox poo, badger poo, cow poo, mud, urine (I have 2 boys who don't always care who's head they wee on :-( ) and I'm sure the list could go on. Just spray a little on, massage in, remove with a damp towel.

Bought it when house sitting for someone during the winter when pipes kept freezing up ... one of my boys just loves to apply camouflage makeup!!

Be careful what you buy. My daughter (human !) uses Batiste with no problems , but 2 other brands have brought out dry shampoo/mousse versions and 1 of them caused her scalp to break down.

That is so useful, coming back from being in hospital I realised my dogs were in need of a wash......
Being handicapped for the time being, I did wonder how to manage bathing them, the cowboy magic seems the perfect answer.

Same here, might save my oldie a lot of trips in the shower or bowl.

Dry Shampoo, I find Batiste the best so far, not tried Whal though.  Found loads in boots recently and even bought an expensive one ( in the black can) wheich said clear, its rubbish on me never mind the dogs.
