Im sorry for all of these questions people, you must be getting sick of me by now lol.

I was just wondering what you wash your mums tummy and teast with before whelping, Tiegans are like bullets and have muck caked into them. whats the best thing to wash them with, just plain water? I have hibiscrub here, would that be OK?
What do you use?

Amy

Warm salty water then rinse with plain water.

Same as triona, think a teaspoon of salt to 1 pint water - brings it down to the strength of tears!

i have used a very mild soap then my girls have had alot of dirt in the creases of the nipple then washed with salt in warm water too.

that sounds good,i was told that hibi scrub would act like soap and possibly start drying the milk up. Im so glad you keep asking all these questions because they are what I am always about to ask! ha ha !
