(if thats possible as im like it with other litters) plus this is our last litter and i think thats why im so sad :( :( :( 1 of the girls is going very soon too so the tears will start again, im keeping a boy from this litter but still its breaking my heart seeing them go!

Oh I feel your pain!!!  7 of mine went last fri, sat, sun. 1  goes in 2 weeks, the big snorter is staying until I know what's causing it and I'm keeping a girl. I fell completely in love with a red girl. She was small and stubby and conformation wise was not where I was aiming for but her personality was something far beyond Ive ever seen in a pup and had been that way since 6 weeks old. She followed me everywhere and was always sat at my feet constantly wagging her tail. She looked at me like I was the centre of her universe. I was so torn about keeping her or letting her go. What made it worse was that she went 250 miles away!!! But the owners absolutely adore her and she will be a very happy little girl. But that doesn't stop my heart aching when I look at her photos. Yep, that's me teary eyed again now!!

Gosh, after all your trials and tribulations with this litter the last few weeks have flown past! I bet you're sad to see them go, but it must make you proud to see them ready to go to new homes after all the effort you put in!
- By white lilly [gb] Date 23.02.11 18:40 UTC

Wow WL...that time already......only seems like a few days ago you were having all those problems and we were all wishing Mist well.
Well done you on getting them this far:)

I think it will be doubly hard for you, knowing that you won't be breeding again.

Having said that, I totally respect your decision and reasoning behind it.

I think it's perfectly normal to cry when the puppies go to their new homes.  I've cried every time for the last 21 years!!! even though they have all gone to super homes, I would think it odd if someone didn't feel upset.

thanks starryeyes ...will hes gone :( omg the pen looks bare!! and when their all jumping up for cuddles looks so strange ,come sunday only 3 will be here the other 2 dont go till next week ....(cry)

hi all, we cry too when our pups leave it never gets any easier... they are part of our family and spend so much time with them its hard to let go, but im sure they will have great new homes and have many cuddles with the new owners. karen.

Its like giving up your babies.  You cry all you want.  i think Jeans right, its doubly hard as you've decided not to do it again (until it comes round again lol).  You might change your mind.
- By white lilly [gb] Date 25.02.11 22:44 UTC
all my girls are spayed now reikiangel and im keeping a boy so now thats 5 big dogs ,cant keep anymore then that my house isnt big enough sadly so breeding is now no more for me ,god forbid anything to happen to any of my dogs i couldnt replace them so thats it for me :(

Ahh, so you couldn't change your mind if you wanted to.

i didn't realise all girls were now speyed.  i suppose you can always have a pup from your boys if you ever feel the need to be round after somthing furry lol.
- By white lilly [gb] Date 26.02.11 17:58 UTC
yes if we were to let our boy be used to a girl i like i might just have a girl from the litter if they have 1 for me :)
