Hi has anyone heard of this or had a pup who has had this condition? It is also known as hypertropic osteodystrophy or moller barlow disease. The pup has a high temperature has gone off her back legs, the xray show a small dark patch. she was sent home with painkiller and observation. Last night she had to be rushed to the emergency vet and is now on morphine as it has spread to her front legs and still has a raging temperature.

If anyone knows anything i would be most grateful for any help. Did your pup survive as things look bleak at the momment.

I've no personal experience of this, but have heard of it.
I'm so sorry for your pup.

I don't know if this will be of any help to you.

I came accross this disease when researching health problems in giant breeds, prior to getting my pup. I have read a few stories with a good outcomes. I hope you can manage your poor pups pain untill this passes.

Best of luck.
