Hello.
Thought this would be the best section to post in.
I am a pet owner of 2 cavalier king charles spaniels, a cross breed 3 legged dachsy cross (at a guess) and a golden retriever.
I have a young daughter so we divided our garden so there was a clean dog free area and a not so clean dog area.
The dogs spend most the day in a large utility room leading directly on to the back garden and there area, excluding walking times. They go in and out all day and for some reason despite 2 walks a day they prefer to do there business outside.
The outdoor area is solid concrete. The problem we have is although we hose this area down daily and use mistral odourfresh disinfectant there is still an odour. We also vacuum the water out of the garden and dispose of it in a dirty drain.... we didnt put in drainage.... doh! before we laid the solic concrete last year.
So what do you clean using? how often? what do you do? and is there a cheaper and easier alternative to removing the water without us now pulling up the patio to put in a system?
Any answers appreciated.

I have 10 dogs who all use a concrete yard and a couple who don't
(Daily routine) Pick up, hose down, wash with bio liquid detergent, then I use a watering can filled with a Zoflora solution, leave for around 20mins and hose down..
I found a super cheap bio liquid detergent in B&M homestores... £1ltr scicilian lemon... I dont particularly like lemon, but this one leaves a really nice clean smell
Zoflora is only £1 in B&M too, compared to £1.30 in Tescos' etc.
I also have gravel patch which I would rather they didn't use, but do.. and the lemon detergent/zoflora solution keeps this fresh too...
I do this alongside twice weekly parvocide
