Pup will have his first show coming up soon, a breed champ show and I cannot remember whether or not I usually trim ears at this stage. He will just be over 6 months and his ears are quite full already and would be looking at starting to do a little bit often to get his used to the scissors if he should be trimmed. Memory is bad....only 2 years since I last had youngster out!!

I would say yes, a tidy up trim :-)  a 4month flatcoat at ringcraft last night had her ears nicely trimmed.. then I looked at my cloth-eared mop and thought it's about time his were done ... (blush)
