they had a part where they were testing dog treat recipe books and some of the ingredients were suspect..walnuts and peanut butter , milk...nothing mentioned about some dogs becoming intolerant to certain foods...it turned out to be a farce...

I forgot that was on, oh well don't seem to have missed much.
Didn't know peanut butter was a problem for dogs, two of mine are quite partial to it and it's often mentioned as a filler for Kong's, anybody know what the problem is with it ?

peanut butter is ok ..not so sure about the rest just picking out the ingredients that popped up on the screen...it was all very fast and rather messy...

> what a palava

I saw a bit of it & found it very funny. The dalmation had me in stitches.

I wasn't paying much attention to the actual recipies as I think cooking for ones dog like that is really going OTT - dogs are scavangers & unless they have any medical issues, they should be more than happy eating anything, not having vegie burgers or doggy muffins cooked for them! (but, maybe I'm just a meanie?)

The Dalmation was 100% dog - he saw the food, he wanted the food and my gosh he made sure he ate the food!!! LOL, he wasn't going to waste any time checking out all the plates before deciding what to have - dive at the first one and keep going till the plate's empty :-D

The part I saw was where the dalmation was a bit nervous, looking for it's owner.  Why wasn't it's owner handling it on the programme?  Non of the women with the dogs seemed particularly dog savvy.  Particularly the idiot who chased the poor dog when it slipped it's collar.

I watched it, so funny and the Dalmatian was so typical!!! :-) couldn't have wanted its Mummy that much as it ran straight to the food at the first chance it had. LOL
It was a useless advert for the cook books but fun to watch.
