hiya all,
i'm considering breeding my little girl(3yrs old)who as today come into season?
my question to you guys is:-
i've  received her card from the vets to book her appointment for her yearly booster, can she have the booster and be mated at the same time?

Same thing here, my girl had her booster day 5 of her season and mated on day 12.

I had a similar situation. My vet assured me the booster was safe, however, she didn't go on to have pups. There were more serious circumstances connected with the mating that would lead to no pups, but, I can't help have the tiny little niggle at the back of my mind.

I had a bitch mated one day, boostered the next, mated again the next -had ten healthy pups.

However if you are just considering mating your bitch (could have read this wrong, but it didn't sound like you had everything prepared yet i.e. firm plans -most of us plan a year or more in advance to get the best dog, line up buyers etc), then you'd be far better off waiting until next season so you have plenty of time to sort everything out.

Me too.  My girl had her booster on day 2 of season, and was mated on days 8 and 10.  No problem with mum or pups.
