Ok so my boy is almost house trained now except for the odd accident which is my fault for not getting him out in time. But when he does pee inside its generally in the lounge on my carpet. Whats best to get rid of the smell? I use vanish carpet moose imeadiatly, and a vax dry carpet shampoo every other day it smells ok for a while then the stench is back ! Iv tried fabreeze and various pet odor removers but still its stinks :( Have been told about Urine off? But read a few reviews some saying it works and others saying it doesnt. Any one got any experiance with this product or any other suggestions....
Removing the carpet is not an option as its only 6 months old silly idea yes I know but we wernt expecting to find a breeder and pup that ticked all the boxes so quick lol.

A solution made of biological washing powder often works well
my two year old akita was poorly a couple of months ago both ends comming out at the same time, in my hall on my carpet, the smell was unbelivable , we used simple solution over the course of a week cleaning it up and when friends came around they said the smell was now gone, we know he could not help the yuk he was throwing out but simple solution worked well for us
Oxi-clean or such like deodourises also. i like Bio washing powder for quickness like the others. You have to soak it right through to the padding for effect, he'll keep going to there as he can smell it even when we can't.
Wash and rinse with biological washing powder, then wipe over with surgical spirit.

Sorry should have found the link first but there is a company called Bac to Nature (spelling is correct) they have a product that smells nice and can be used anywhere indoors and outside in the garden on any surface that is okay with water - and it works.

or seen as its a newish carpet I would get it professionally steam cleaned , its not that expensive.

I swear by Urine Off,we have a couple of oldies who have the odd accident or house training a new pup. Have used it for over two years after trying various other products on the market,I blott with kitchen roll then spray Urine Off,blott again then spray again and blott after a few mins this way I have no problems with it leaving a smell or stain and believe me I get down on my hands and knees to smell it just to make sure.
