My boxer is 11 in July!!!
She has been spayed and now leaks in her sleep.
She has been on Propalin for a year or so but it failed to completely dry her up, so an eostrogen based drug called Inurin was started, one per day.
My old girl didnt tolerate this every day and refused to eat so its now cut down to 1 per week.
This combo seems to be doing the trick.
Propalin works on the cells of the bladder sphincter and the Inurin makes those cells more receptive to the former.
so the propalin should work if not then ask about the inurin? how do you cope with all the accidents , just bought a waterproof bed for her and a vax for me lol

The Propalin is not very effective if the bladder cells, it should work on, have lost their receptiveness.
The Inurin perks them up and the Propalin can then work on them.
I hope that dries your girl up but Im sure there are further treatments if these dont do the trick.
I buy the double padded duvet-type quilts from dog show and wash and dry them every day or so ( wash and dry in hours)- they sit in a big plastic dog bed.
I would have thought that urine would run off a waterproof bed onto the floor and boxers usually hate that crackly noise waterproof fabrics give.
I will be putting vet bedding on the top to stop the crackling noise, you know when you look at your dog and you can tell that something just is not right, she follows me everywhere and just stares at me all the time , boy i wish they could talk.

Getting her thyroid problem under control could help her heart and her mood.
Fingers crossed.
