Hello! Are blasters a good way of preparing a long coated breed for the show ring ans opposed to an ordinary stand dryer? Thanks in anticipation

I have a grooming parlour and breed and show Rough Collies. I have a Simpson's blaster and a Simpson's stand dryer. The blaster has a VERY powerful jet of COLD air, and is used to "sweep" the water from the coat, saving time and towel drying. The dryer has 2 heat settings and dries like a human hair dryer. To prepare a Rough for the ring, I blast then dry. The whole grooming and bathing process for a full coated adult takes about an hour. Now, there are some who consider that heat takes the bloom from the coat and will blast for hours! I wouldn't like to stand wet with cold air blasted on me for more than a couple of minutes, so the choice is yours!
If I could only buy one item, then it would certainly be the dryer because on the cool or cold setting, it's another pair of hands and parts the coat when grooming. It makes grooming quicker and easier. Hope that helps.
PS What breed do you have?
