I don't know how many of you enter the 2 day Open show that takes place with the suffolk county show in june but be warned.......

http://www.eadt.co.uk/business/suffolk_show_imposes_dogs_ban_1_782534

I have been every year since we moved to suffolk, for the past 21 years since i had the first GSD he has been as well, OH is not that keen so since daughter has stopped coming, for the last 12 years Me and the dog have gone and had a day out....but no more :-( as I do not want to go on my own...and with dog I am NOT on my own.

There are literally thousands of dogs there, lots seem to be people who have done their show classes and then come through to the show for the rest of the day plus families with their pets etc. They don't want you anymore.

registered assistance dogs and those taking part in demonstrations will be allowed on site. Those dogs taking part in competitions or displays will be allowed on 30 minutes before classes and displays start and must be removed immediately afterwards
I don't know how this will be enforced as there is always a 'parade of hounds' at least twice a day with packs of foxhounds, harriers, beagles otter/mink hounds all in the grand ring together.
By the way....horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, goats etc can **** anywhere!

I AM NOT HAPPY :-( :-(

It has been the same at the Lincolnshire County Show for many years. A sign of the times, I fear.
