Im sorry if this sounds daft but do I need to take any of my dogs paper work with me to the show?

not a silly question if you don't know the answer, which is no ;-)

I'm not sure which show you mean, but if it's in the UK then no, you don't. (And it's a perfectly reasonable question to ask! :-) )

Not silly at all the answer is only if you have had to obtain a letter giving you permission to show in which case it is best to take a copy or that. Now I hope that is not a silly answer. :-)

You are on the right  forum for the best advice

Thank you for that, I had visions of turning up and not being allowed in without them! I keep waking up in a cold sweat at night thinking of other 'problems'!!

I think I shall be grey by the time I get there!!

Is this an open show or a champ show you are working yourself into a lather about. Let us know and we will tell you what will happen then you can stop worrying.

It's an open show!

I took ages filling in the entry form on my first show because I couldn't work out what their 'authority to compete' number was - of course was soon told that they didn't have or need one if they were UK KC registered dogs! :-p
