We wish to attend a good bench show in Scotland with a large number of Gordon Setters. WE will schedule our trip around this show so we are willing to put our trip off until 2003. I have been searching for Gordon Dog Show web pages with out much luck. Hope someone from the gundog group replies, because I'm from another group, but I'd expect a decent entry at Scottish Breeds (29th March 2003 - tel. 01465 714919
), the two Scottish Kennel Club Ch. shows (17th May 2003 & 24th August 2003 - tel. 01316 536937) and Border Union (14th June 2003 - tel. 01890 830320). I've never attended either, but there are also Gundog Breeds of Scotland (8th Nov. 2003 - tel. 01436 820478) and Working & Pastoral Breeds Association of Scotland (2nd Nov 2003 - tel. 01501 743826). You could have a look on the web for info on those shows to, and go to the Scotish Kennel Club site - www.scottishkennelclub.org/

Looking up my old Scottish Kennel Club catalogues there were 92 Gordon Setters entered at the show in May this year and 76 Gordons entered at the August show. Hope it gives an idea of how many you might expect to see at the Scottish Kennel Club shows.
