Does anyone know whether I can get, or whether one of these even exists - I would like a lightweight hairdryer to take to shows for those days they get wet but I don't want to rely on the possibility of there being an electrical socket somewhere so guess that means either rechargeable or battery? I've googled and haven't come up with much so suggestions welcome.
What do others use for long haired breeds at the shows, I've seen people drying the dogs?
I few champ shows have plug sockets. You can get hairdriers that plug into your cigarette lighter, past that I dont know, sorry! I have a medium lenght coat and towels!

I know you can get small rechargeable hairdryers as my sister has one that she takes on holiday with her. Try putting it in google.

try ioneat.co.uk I have a gas powered hairdryer that I use for the shih tzu.
Thank you, the ioneat is currently out of stock but I've contacted them for information. I've also contacted Joe's contact so hope to come up with something... With any luck we will then have a warm dry summer where we don't need to dry wet dogs before going into the ring!

I hve beardies as you probably know...we have boots for the feet and coat but if the weather is dreadful we put the crate up on the trolley which has a waterproof cover with one see through side ,I pop the dogs in and pull them into the show keeps them completely dry.
I would love a drier so if you find one let me know!!

well I have registered interest...
I have too but so far no response to the email.

Hi, I have just contacted the lady whom we got the dryer from and she says that they are waiting on the new version becoming available. Anyone who send emails will be kept on file and will be contacted as soon as they get the new stock. Hope this helps.
Thank you - I tried to ring and left an email and facebook message but no reply. Will wait and see.

I spoke to her the other day, told same waiting for delivery from abroad, they will be priced at at approx £85.00
Braun used to make one that was charged by mini gas cartridges but I don't know if they still make it.

There is a guy richard@richardunger.com who is going to have some of these dryers shortly. I have one. The battery lasts for 15 minutes handy for touch up at shows
