My girls were stolen on the 14th December and I thought I would let everyone know that I have just had the call to say that they have been FOUND. Well recovered actually from a gypsy site after a very kind man let us know he had seen them there !!

Im just going to pick them up. How exciting is that !!!!!!!!

Well they are home and doing what whippets do best, sleeping LOL. They are either side of me on the sofa and I am in heaven I'm sure !!!
They have been kept together thankfully and are not looking too bad at all just a bit grubby and a few fleas but nothing and good scrub in the bath and some tlc wont sort out ;-)  Unfortunately the gypsies cant be charged as they gave the story that they had just bought them, etc. the usual rubbish. At the moment I feel like I'm in a dream though and nothing will get me down !!

Just read your post. I have whippets and know how much they are loyal to their owner and can easily get home sick. How on earth you have coped i have no idea. I know i'd be in bits. I'd boot my partner out of bed and have my girls sleeping beside me after something like that! So pleased for you! xx

To be honest I havent really coped with it at all. I have been in a terrible state and actually made myself ill with worry to the point were I couldnt eat and lost over a stone (not all bad then LOL). I just dont do stress :-(
I want to tell everyone that has lost their dog not to give up though and to everyone else get your dogs microchipped or preferably tattooed. I think it would have been much more likely that I would not have seen them again if it wasnt for the microchips.

K now the feeling I lost a stone in 2 weeks when my Lana was stolen.  Hope they are doing well now they are back home.
