How long is it before the dog is ready to mate again after a tie?

some will wait 48h some the next day, we mated our girl 2days in a row she had a day off and then mated the next day so 3 matings in over 4 days :)

I have known of a male released from the tie turn around and mate a bitch again straight away. ;)  Much to the consternation and amusement of bitch owner and stud dog handler.

My most two recent bitches: 

On mated three times every other day (so over 5 days), the other was mated daily for four days.

my male would always try to hop straight back on once a tie was broken, so some careful handling needed with him at all times....but generally you wouldn't  mate a bitch more than once a day, it is probably more common to have 48 hours between matings. But it also depends on the bitch as some will only stand for the one mating where as others may stand for the whole season
