Ok - just checking all of my info - am I right that I do not need to do anything, that the owner of the stud will print and sign the form etc at point of mating  ?

I have always taken a form to the stud dog owner

If you register the pups online you don't need a signature, just the stud dog's registration number or stud book number. The KC will then contact the owner to check there are no objections to the litter being registered.

Actually they suggest that you get a signature on form 1 just in case of a dispute.

Although I intend to register my litter online, I also got a signed copy of the form 'just in case', it doesn't hurt anything if this form is then discarded.

I have always supplied one for people using my boys, however I haven't found that all stud dog owners do this when I have taken my girls to them.

I agree that a signature is good, even if you intend to register online.  I assume you have your own affix?
