I've just started using the No.7 Hot Cloth Cleanser, and am very very impressed. I've had a look at the protect and repair serums and moisturiser and quite fancy having a go with them as well, but they are rather pricey. My skin is ever so slightly oily/combination and I hate creams that I can feel on the skin, if you know what I mean. I don't mind paying out if something is worth it, but I've bought so many face creams and found them to be way too rich and heavy. (Age range - late 40s ;))
I was wondering if anyone has tried this range, and what they think of it.
Thanks
I have changed to use the protect and perfect moisturiser, used to use Clarins or Decleor; I'm late 40's, sensitive skin and I like them, someone commented that my skin looked dewey ( well I hope that's what they said!) They often have offers on. I changed because I had read a fair amount on the product and it actually suggested they worked. I have the serum ( not used yet) and have yet to try the eye cream as I am quite sensitive.

The serum's excellent, it's very light, you use a tiny little amount of it. The No7 range was tested by some professor on the telly a while ago, it was the only one that lived up to the hype and that was against very expensive posh stuff.

I tried it and thought it was a waste of money - went back to Oil of Ulay and Liz Earle.
If you like removing a cleanser with a cloth then try Liz Earle, she started it before someone else copied - think it was Creme de la Mer.

I use olay at night but something I found during the summer by Elizabeth Arden called Good Morning Skin Serum you can use it as a moisturiser in the morning, but if you wear foundation (which I dont very often) its fantastic as a primer makes your skin feel so smooth, comfortable and soft , make up just slides on so easily would definitely recommend it .Bit expensive at £30 but you only use a tiny bit eg: less than a quarter of a 5p piece I have had it for over 6m and loads left.
If your ever in a dept store just try some on the back of your hand.

I use protect and perfect serum and I really like it (I'm in my late 40's [ouch that hurts], but my mum is in her 70's and loves it too). It is very light and doesn't clog your skin at all. I have also used Estee Lauders Idealist pore minimizing skin refresher - it is very good too as is their advanced night repair. I hate claggy face creams too and the serum should be used under a moisturizer so I tend to use Estee Lauders Daywear plus which has a tint in it so I don't need to use any foundation ( don't wear makeup normally).

Another vote of confidence for the liz Earle system! It's the original and still the best.
Definately go for a serum I'd never be without mine now. (I'm using the Clinique repair-wear laser focus and it's astonishing, all fine lines gone now and I don't get that awful pillow crease in the mornings :-) )

Liz Earle here too. Good home grown Isle of Wight girl...must support her and her local business.

I thought she had sold her business to Avon earlier this year and they now own it and were reputed to be changing the formulations to cheaper ones in line with their own products.
