my girl is now on day 53 she has a massive tum its hanging down but very hard! her ribs are alot bigger but she dont look that big at the sides? all my girls have looked round and then have big tums towards the end when pups have dropped down ready for birth!
has any1 eles seen this in their girls? at this stage,she hasnt over ate ive only just started to increase her food in the last couple of days ,she is a large breed and has put on 4kg already and normally my girls have put on loads at the end so if she goes like normal she might end up putting on about 8/9 kg! :-O why would she carry so low at this stage?

I had a girl with a hanging belly even earlier, and I was worried about her at the beginning of the year.  My breed keeps them under the ribcage until the very last minute, yet this girl had them moving down at 5 weeks - much earlier than your girl.  This breed averages 1-3 pups.

My bitch had a perfectly normal whelping, a few days early, and shelled them like peas.  She had 5 pups!   

OMG!! jean now im worried lol ive got this horrible gut feeling we are having a massive litter ive heard of 14 in this breed :-O and im praying my girl isnt going to be 1 of them :-O ive felt like this for about 2 weeks now everytime i look at her shes grown :-( xx

My girl gained 12 kilo's with her first litter of eleven.  She went up to 50kg!!  I weighed her weekly so I could keep an eye on her.  She is a tall girl anyway but her belly was nearly on the floor.lol

OMG bex72 12kg so maybe if my girl only puts 9kg on she might only have 9 ;) and not more :) xx

my girl is looking big too and what I have noticed is that I can feel her spine more easily shes on day 44.

i can feel my girls spine too ,
since ive been worming her she has the runs, and isnt eating that much now bless her she just sleeps alot!

I started worming my girl from day 40 too and see seems rather windy!! Yes lots of sleeping and lounging here too and with all this snow not getting out much !
