My two pups are now 2 weeks old.
Both putting on weight and with regular feeds from mum we have kept the mums milk flowing -Even though reduced in amount, if they suckle both sides they seem to be getting enough and go to sleep happy after feeding.

Puppies did have a difficult start with getting the runs but are now doing brilliantly.
They had antibiotics but have now finished the course.
Mum never learned to make them do poops, probably because it was just leaking out of them for the first days so she has not figured out she should put effort in in order to make them do poops. I have had to take over the toileting when I realised she is only making them wee but not poop.

The boy puppy who actually never got the bug is worrying me with his toileting habits.
The boy puppy only goes once a day and this is what worries me as surely he sould be going more often than this?
The girl poops 2-3 times a day so not very often but often enough to keep me happy.

I have never had to toilet puppies before like this so I don't know if it is my technique that is wrong, so any tips on the perfect toileting technique are also welcomed :).

He is not constipated as when the poop does come out it is normal poop & he is perfectly happy in himself, eating like there is no tomorrow and does not have a tight belly or anything to say he is having tummy issues. He crawls around a lot in the box and is active, sturdy puppy.
The vet did not really know what to say except that it could be the antibiotics and losing of normal bacteria that could make them slow...
She did not seem to have any ideas or worries about him, but then vets are not always very clued on when it comes to little pups hence me posting here.

Should I be worried or am I just paranoid??
Should I maybe start weaning even though the mums milk seems to be enough at the moment?
Could I give them probiotics? If I can, what would people recommend?

I amNOT experienced with puppies, i've had my baby girl 3weeks ago. Whenever my puppy wanted to poo what i did was to gently rub her behind by wet baby tissue. It helped  her alot, still I do it when I see her trying to poo unsuccessfully.

i use wet warm cotton wool and stroke between the bum and bits ,and rub towards the bum i do it till the pup makes a grunting noise and then they start to strain and poo i do this with all my pups to make sure mum is doing it ok and not missing any of her babbies, when thay do this and you can see them strain and nothing comes out you know their ok if its done right they always poo if they need to ,plus i can tell if their contsipated by doing this ,i hope this post makes sence :-) xx
