Hi all, I have been advised to use this as an alternative to Vitalin, any opinions please?

I've used this in the past for my Labradors.  Made to a porridge consistancy, it stopped them bolting their food.  The dogs loved it, poos were firm but more of it! and were quite pale in colour (too much information??!)  The downside was that nowhere around here stocked it so I had to remember to order it and I always forgot!.  I think if I could get it easily I would still use it, maybe with some tripe for a bit extra meat content.

I've also tried the Vitalin one and wasn't at all happy with the output.  Dogs liked it ok though...

the poos on this food were horrid. Looks like they have eaten a milti seed loaf & they disintergrate very quickly so you can't pick them up easily.

My boy has a sensitive tum and so even though he is almost 3 was on Vitalin's sensitive/senior lite. He was doing ok but needed something a bit "more" for him. we tried a 20kg bag of the meal and TBH it didn't put more weight on him, just made a mess of the garden.

I contacted Vitalin and he swapped over to their Lamb and Rice and so far had brill poos and no runs and so I should know in a week or so if he blooms on it.
