Well, I was going to suggest Corrie Elliot who is in Sedbergh, still a trek I know - but a very nice trek out and not quite so far as the other suggestion! But apparently her website says she's on maternity leave!  However, if you have a look she does post a link to find a chiropracter in your area. Not a recommendation I know, but maybe a starting point (mind, I can't personally recommend Corrie, though she seems very nice & I know people who have gone to her successfully)!  http://www.dogchiropractor.co.uk/

We usually use Helen Lightfoot in Market Drayton who I would highly recommend. Might still be a bit of a trek for you though, but we travel from York to see her.
