Hello
Does anyone have any experience of taking an adult cocker spaniel to Spain ( mallorca) via air travel . I have been quoted a silly amount that is equal to a dog entering the UK by agent ( unaccompanied ) . I thought that a one way journey out of the uk with a family member was charged like excess weight x 2 .
Any help or experience would be great
Many Thanks
Sally
I flew a dog out to Hungary and everyones advice was to fly her out as excess baggage which at the time was £8 per kilo. Dog plus crate was 40Kg so £320. Transporting her as cargo was quoted at £600+!
Hi have you tried Lufthansa I've heard good reviews about travelling with animals with them.
I´ve also heard Lufthansa can be good. Flybe also take animals.
