Does anybody know the ins and outs of this?  The bitch would  be going back to her breeder but the KC say that I've got to transfer her into my name in her country of origin and have an export pedigree (the country involved takes blooming months to transfer them into your name etc.) in my name.  She is not to be owned by me though so don't understand why I would have to do this???

No idea, I can only think in the eyes of the KC you are also importing the unborn pups...?
I am sure many people who brought pregnant dogs through quarantine in the old days will be better qualified to answer.... although under those rules the pups could come out of Q before the dam did.... I never quite understood that bit!

Can you not do a loan of bitch agreement from another country?

I honestly don't know but if you can loan a bitch in this country then I would think that if the owners register her with the UK KC then a loan could be arranged? Just a thought.

Yeah just seems really long winded and the pups couldn't be registered n this way for months.  Sadly I have turned down the good offer I had.
