when i left for work this morning - all main roads clear and fully useable

working in walsall, snow is coming down again

Just so you all know, i am actually near J12 m6 and not right in the middle of stafford but i'd be pretty sure i can give an accurate idea of the area :)

I'm closer to Stafford but all main roads ok, just side roads that are rubbish.

anyone know what the roads are like to Stafford if coming from Uttoxeter (sp) its for a friend coming from Rotherham, (snowed in at the moment but is wondering if she can get out of her village will it be ok for rest of journey)

Someone on another forum Im on has just posted that the roads are ok its mainly the side roads that are dodgy.
Were about 30 mins from Stafford and the roads are clear but again its the side roads.

I wouldn't risk it from Yorkshire, she liable to run into trouble on the m1 area, its bad up there.  No other way to pass through, if she did the backway its inpassable.
