did any one watch animal adicts on animal planet it actually had an ex vet who was breeding gsd she went to court and was allowed to keep 15 dogs lives in guildford,Surrey 
No training socialising and to keep at bay she uses a broom to hit them with and was still breeding when not allowed if she passes away there is noone to take care of them, unfortunately most of them would be pts how sad

Yes that case was very well known at the time, absolutely dreadful she had been a decent breeder at one point in fact my first gsd back in 1983 had some of her lines in her pedigree,amberwell.
The case  became very convuloted (sp) and went on in different ways for years. Although not a defense I believe the lady also became unwell as she aged possibly I heard dementia all though how true I dont know. Not sure it was ever really resolved properly as far as I can remember she never was completely stopped from owning dogs due to some strange quirks of the laws , disgusting  .If she is still alive she must be very elderly by now and lets hope it has all finished now
