i have ordered my first computer,which has firewire,i know you can download camcorders
through this.but is their any other use for it.

I've got a printer & scanner that can use firewire but as I don't have one I use USB. My husband uses firewire with video equipment but don't ask me for any details as his desk looks like a 3D version of the London Underground map. Ja:)kie
