Have just spent a week at a really nice dog friendly cottage at Bacton in Norfolk. It was quite reasonable price wise and with a lot of good walks on the doorstep - lots of people walking dogs locally and had exclusive use of part of the beach every day. (NB dogs banned on beach from April until September so perfect for a late Autumn/Winter break.) Coal fire available and cottage was very clean. Note: dogs not allowed on furniture so provide bedding - I brought their new memory foam bed from PAH and plenty of fleecy blankets. I also kept their towel handy by the door so I could give their feet a wipe before entering. I also put plenty of throws on the furniture as double insurance.
The dogs are absolutely exhausted and have slept pretty much most of the time since we arrived home at about 2:00 this afternoon! The garden was enclosed but Billy being a small and wiry JRT escape artist had to stay on the lead - he could have easily squeezed through the gate and the fence was quite low so this is worth considering for high jumping dogs! However, there are plenty of places around for free running so this wasn't really a worry! I would also suggest to be careful when going into the cottage as there is a very low lintel and I kept forgetting and banging my head (I am 5'9").
For the humans: there is a washing machine, TV/DVD, a video player, a microwave and a decent washing line in the garden. There are also plenty of cleaning materials/bin bags supplied which keeps the shopping bill down. There is a dog friendly pub fairly close by and it's not too far from Sainsbury/Tesco. It has 2 bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin.

Just thought people might be interested as I know how difficult it is to find good pet friendly accommodation and I know how long it took me to find this place!
