We have a puppy that is about 5 months old and had unusually in our breed has got a scissor bite as you can imagine im over the moon, I noticed nearly the whole litter had good bites and thought that they would go south the older they got but many are still very good I know they are only just 5 months but how likely is it that it's going to change, and when do you think it will settle?

hard to say, depends on the breed I guess but in my own giant and slow maturing breed ive had a perfect bite up to 12 months and by 14 months it was going wrong, on more than one ocassion!

My puppy's all over the place at the mo, it was pretty much level at first, then became a perfect scissor and I was so thrilled, looked at her yesterday and it's going overshot - aargh! Still plenty of time for anything to happen before we get in the ring!
