My insurance cover for "boarding " and walking dogs seemed inadequate and expensive. Do any of you know of a good insurance company who cover all possible problems whilst other people's dogs are staying in my home? I don't have kennels so the dogs( who only come singly) live in the home with mine, are walked on the forest with my own dogs and are generally treated as one of my family. I need cover for the visiting dogs and for myself if any problems occur. Advice much appreciated. Thanks.

Have a look at Cliverton, they are good for this kind of thing :-)

Not used them for animal insurance but NFU would be a good place to make enquiries. Their business insurance is tailored to individual needs rather than one size fits all and I have found them very helpful with other types of insurance. They are not one of the companies that instantly spring to mind when considering insurance but I have found them to be very good.
