What is the earliest a large breed litter can have scraped beef or minced beef please, or should I start with a puppy porridge? For various reasons I have to start to wean my pups early and they are now 12 days old.

I would just try them on it, if they can't cope or aren't interested you will soon know. I weaned my large breed pups at 17 days and they coped fine :-)

if i have to wean early i just make up what ever im weaning them on if they take it then there ready if not interested then wait and try the next day! x

My tiny breed often start licking mums food before the eyes are open, so I would say go for it.

Our pups 1st meat meal is scrapped rump steak & now should be fine.
