Has anyone got any suggestions to help my boot liner stick to the plastic on my car?

The stick on velcro keeps coming off, and I really don't want to use anything permanent (like no nails!)

Suggestions please!

How about double sided tape?

I keep re-velcroing - nightmare

Apparently there is a coating applied to the plastic in cars which needs to be removed before the stick on velcro will work. You can remove the coating by using a solvent such as lighter fuel. Thats the theory anyway, my velcro stuck for about a day before it fell off !
