Have to say that this holiday home on Anglesey is an ideal place to stay with your dogs.
It is in Llanddona-semi detached with two bedrooms-sleeps 5-double bedroom-and a bedroom with three single beds in. Bathroom with shower over bath.
Lovely lounge with sea views-dining room-good size kitchen and a porch to take of the wellies and outdoor coats.
It is 300 yards from beach-no leads required to get them there-and at back of property a forestry to walk in.
Dog friendly beach lots of open space to lets the dogs have a good run .

House called Coch Y Mieri.
I have 4 dogs and all welcome.
It is a family working farm-stud horses they have-it has 16 acres of land-no sheep on it either. Neighbours have sheep on .

I love threads like this as a store for future places to visit. The Anglesey one looks lovely and I fancy a trip down that way.
This is my recommendation so far this year -
The Hayloft, near Rye (an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'). The Hayloft is detached, in the grounds of the owners' home, which has a huge garden and woods. Owners happy with dogs as long as they're sociable with their own two (female) dogs and don't chase the chickens! Short car drive to beautiful Camber Sands. Loads of lovely pubs and tea rooms.

We are off for 4 breaks this year 1, Sandyballs in New Forest old faithful one, log cabin, dog friendly walks galore. 2, Tomorrow Centreparc Longleat I suspect not so many walks but it is in a forest. 3rd Dream Cottages in Dorset (Pickford Cottage) enclosed garden sleeps 4 and Ive got a book called Dorsets Jurassic coast - 10 circular walks - packing my boots.
Finally Christmas at Hawthorn Cottage near Sandwich Bay 3 miles from where my youngest lives on a farm again a cheapie book on walks, looking forward to christmas 2010.
Roll on next year when we can move home again!! But Im still going on holidays with dogs as we get the exercise and Im not worrying if they miss me!!!!

Hey whistler, we love sandyballs!!(yes, much hilarity that year whenever we talked about the hols). We take our own 'van and it takes us approx 13 hours from start to finish but it's well worth it. I try to time it with Bournemouth CS and Wales on the way back. Beautiful and a lovely beach too.

> Sandyballs in New Forest
Great place.
I didn't know that CentreParks allow dogs.. Well I know where I may now go for a break and some R&R if they can come..:-)
I started taking my sons when they were about 7 or 8 (23 &25 Now) we had a log cabin, first stop Fordingbridge to buy a book each.
We always stayed Feb half term and saw deer in the woods, and fished, clay wprk ect... They still remember the place fondly and it was great in April this year.
Yes Centreparc has a few dog friendly cabins and we go there tomorrow, armed with crates, towells ect....
should be great fun for a long weekend.
