The following is a copy of a request I sent directly to Mr. and Mrs. Coupe at Timadon Kennels. When I saw that you also have a place to post questions to the group, I thought it would be a good idea to inquire this way as well. Thank you kindly:

My name is Janet Britton, and I live in the US. In 1988, after a long search for a Gordon Setter that was right for us, we were very fortunate to meet Mrs. Christine Lomas of Coxwold in Yorkshire, who had lovely setters from Mrs. Alan's Strathfinella. In 1990, Christine's Timadon Bramble was bred to Tandar Black Velvet (Scotland), and our little Corriedee Delphinium was born.

We lost our girl (we called her Bramble, also) to a brain tumor at Christmas time of 1999, when she was 9 years old. We still have her son (Ch Chapman Jackson, "Briar") from her only litter, and he is another beauty!

We have lost touch with Christine, and we are contacting you to see if you have female Gordon available, of this style and breeding, and if not, can you put us in contact with someone that might?

Perhaps you know Christine, and how to locate her.

We look forward to hearing back from you, and for any information you may be able to provide.
