I very rarely watch Eastenders but as it was on tonight I thought I would. Last time I watched it the preacher type person strangled his wife and threw her in the canal. then her body was found. Just watched it now and have just seen the wife? can some fan tell me what happened or have I got it all wrong?
Thanks

Aparemntl;y he threw someone else in the canal (a vagrant) and indentified her body as denise!!!!! And then kept denise in a cellar (I watch it once a month and thats what I worked out)~
What is making me sick tonight is the thing with Stacey :( :( Minipulating mentally ill people :( :(

Which old guy? Jim? he only appears occasionally after his real-life stroke. Mo - no idea

I watched it the other week & kept asking my mum questions, who's that? where's so & so? lol she told me to watch it at home as she was getting annoyed at me asking her questions.

But yes i was confused when i saw Denise strolling along the square with some young lad!

Give me Coronation Street any day, comedy mixed in with drama.  EE is sooooo boring and stressful LOL.

> Coronation Street

My fav character is Simon Barlow(Kens Grandson)

Plenty of comedy in EE! I'd never start watching a programme where I couldn't catch up and watch all the previous episodes so Coronation Street is totally out LOL. I remember arriving here as a tourist in 1984 and being told on the bus to the hotel by the guide that if you watch an episode of Coronation Street, then come back to visit again 5 years later nothing will have happened at all in between so that put me off LOL.

Corrie has its fair share of ridiculous stories too - this whole John faking his identity so he can teach bit is just annoying - as is the whole 'adopt a baby' war - who in their right mind would let any of them adopt - I wouldn't let them look after my goldfish :-D :-D .

What I want to know is where are all the dogs? Roxy's Boxer and Ian and Jane's Basset and Terence in particular... They used to be consistent with the dogs shown and they were often involved in storylines but now they seem to vanish into thin air for months on end!!! Also Sugar and Gumbo, where are they?
- By Chrissy [gb] Date 02.09.10 08:22 UTC
I agree about the disappearing dogs.  But who on earth are Sugar and Gumbo?

There are a BMD and Saint respectively.
- By Chrissy [gb] Date 02.09.10 08:29 UTC
Oh yes i remember know.  Sugar was the dog belonging to Bradley's girlfriend who went to Canada and Gumbo went back to his original owner after Bradley looked after him for a while.  Sounds like all for the best really, as Bradley threw himself off the roof!  Didn't realise looking after dogs did that to you.

But wasn't it a BMD (sugar?) that the mad preacher took to the canal with murder on his mind because the dog kept digging at the grave where he had buried his ex wife?
- By flattiemum [gb] Date 03.09.10 12:44 UTC
Close....he took it away to drown in the canal because it kept digging at the tree where he had buried Denis's ex (the dog had a good relationship with the deceased man). The tree was planted in memory of his ex wife who he had not murdered but left to die!!!
Sad or what!!

Albert the Boxer is around but only seen occasionally. The Basset ran away and was never found. Terence lives with Bianca and kids and again is seen occasionally. Sugar was killed by Lucas and Gumbo went back to his former owner.
