I have to say I'm very impressed with the turnaround time of the Kennel Club's kennel name service. After hearing so many stories about how people submitted loads of names and not getting a name accepted until months later - I applied online Monday night, and got my certificate and provisional acceptance of my 2nd choice this morning, less than 5 days later! (Didn't think I'd get my first choice but applied anyway).
Now to wait to see if there are any objections from the October Kennel Gazette before adding it to all my gang :-) - no longer will they be the random group of dogs owned by x and x but the dogs from x kennel ;-)

Mine was very quick too and got my 2nd choice. I was told that I had missed the Aug edition and that it would go into Sept, well it hasn't and the only telephone line is a general one and the wait is crazy.
If its not in Oct then i'm not going to be happy about it.

How do you know it hasn't gone into September's issue? Surely it's not out yet?

There was one I had just missed and the most recent one with Parsons on the front i'm sure was Sept issue?? Maybe I read the front wrong. I do have blonde moments :-)
