In May 2008 I rehomed my dog Teddy to live with one of my distant relations in Newcastle (County Durham). He required his yearly booster vaccination in August of the same year. He didn't get him his booster at all and on 09/08/2010 he was pts because he had parvovirus. I'm so upset by this and wish to god I had never gave him away. Worst part was I rang the vets up and pretended to be him and they said we could have tried to save him but you opted to put him to sleep. I learnt the hard way NEVER give your beloved pets away AND always get the boosters.

Still so upset.

I had him since I was 12 he was 7 when he died.

So sorry, it's never easy to lose a loved one, in these circumstances it must be awful.
((hugs))
