I have been trying for a week to get a response of the KC in regards to my affix lapsing as i didnt know it was up for renewal and although i accept its up to me to keep on top but i understood they would notify me a month before payment was due, im annoyed i now have to pay the full 70pound again and have still had no contact off them, yet this week i have had 4 phonecalls from their sales department as they would like me to put a advert in in octobers gazette which is featuring our breed for a minimum fee of £80, there is no wonder we all get so miffed with them all that seems to concern them is where they get theyre money from.

I set up a direct debit right back when I first had mine...much easier & not forgotten

i wonder if they read CD as just got a call to say they are going to reimburse me and i will only have to pay the £20!

Lol...good news...I recommend doing a direct debit...it is taken from my account 1st July every year.

When I first set up m DD they didn't take the money out of my account. Een after complaining by phone it took over a month for them to take out the money :-(The following year the same thing..... They finally sorted the problem and do now take it out on time (September)

Im so glad you mentioned this i didnt get my renewal through this year and its only because i knew it was due soon that i called them up and done it over the phone and i was told i must of had the letter because they always send them out.

Me and my sister bought our mum her kennel name for her Birthday last year so we know every year now when to pay as we give her the re- newal as a little present, imagine though if we forgot LOL doubt that would go down well.. I bet Id be living in the dog run at the top of the garden.
