Just got e-mail tonight that Xiogun has been picked to do a couple of demonstrations at the Forestry commission Wood Fest on 29th August :-)

He will be doing an individual demo showing all the aspects of the Kennel Club Gold Award. Also taking part
in a group obedience demo, all the other dogs are English Springers and the trainer wanted another breed in the group.

The individual practice run was perfect but in the group run Xioguns walking on side was slightly ropey in parts and at the
end when doing a 'Finish' he just rolled over and waved his legs in the air ( much to the amusement of everyone ),  Ollie blood courses through his veins :-)  So, lots of work still to be done but he will get
there, and if he doesn't,  everyone loves him anyway.:-)

Gundog training still ongoing... Not bad for a 9month old, son of the Spawn of Satan :-P

Well done Kay!!! Getting any 9 month old to do as they are told is one thing but a Lab is a whole different ball game and then one of Ollie's pups.. :-P
