Hello everyone,

I wanted to share my excitement with you all that I am picking up my new Golden Cocker Boy 'Toby' on Saturday morning.

The date seems to have come around so fast but I feel that this week is going to drag on!

I will keep you updated on his progress.

Just in case you are not fully prepared I saw this on another site :)

PREPARING FOR A NEW PUPPY........

1. Pour cold apple juice on the carpet in several places and walk around barefoot in the dark.

2. Wear a sock to work that has had the toes shredded by the blender.

3. Immediately on waking stand outside in the rain and dark saying 'be a good puppy and go potty, come on hurry up now lets's go!'.

4. Cover all your best suits with dog hair. Dark suits must have light hair, light suits must have dark hair.

5. Float some hair in your first cup of morning coffee.

6. Play catch with a wet tennis ball.

7. Run out in the snow in your bare feet to close the gate.

8. Tip over a basket of clean washing, scattering clothes all over the floor.

9. Leave your underwear in the middle of the living room floor because that is where your dog will drag it anyway (especially when you have company).

10. Jump out of your chair just before the end of your favourite TV programme and run to the door shouting 'NO NO do that OUTSIDE!' Miss the end of the programme.

11. Gouge the leg of the dining room table several times with a screwdriver.

12. Put chocolate pudding on the carpet in the morning and try not to clean it up until you return from work that evening.

13. Take a warm blanket out of the tumble drier and wrap it around yourself, this is the feeling you get when your puppy falls asleep in your lap.
