Her tummy is really hard and she seems to be in a bit of pain . Think she may be constipated . Just wondering what is the best thing to give her to make her "Go" ..?
Suggestions please ..?

Don't give her anything without asking your vet first - it could be something much more serious than constipation; obstruction due to a foreign body or an intussuseption, for example.

Have just been made aware that she went whilst out walking earlier .. so not obstruction of any kind .  Best ring the Vet

Definately dont give her anything. Depending on your breed, if she is large breed or deep chested, I'd get her checked to rule out bloat too.

You could ask the vet about the lactulose when you visit.  Unless you know what it is best not to treat.  there could still be an obstruction even after going to the toilet, it depends where the obstruction is.  no amount of latulose will shift that.

I wouldnt give my dog lactulose, when constipated vets advice is to give teaspoon of liquid paraffin.

If tummy is very hard to touch I'd be wanting a vet to check and rule out bloat.
