"Last year saw a big increase in the numbers of stray dogs recorded as being picked up in the UK. Tom Heap discovers that many of the unwanted dogs in pounds and rescues are Staffordshire Bull Terrier types. Has the fashion for aggressive looking 'status' dogs contributed to the numbers of abandoned pets the authorities are now having to deal with? Panorama has gained access to Battersea Dogs Home and reveals the shocking truth of the numbers of dogs it is having to put to sleep."

This could be just what's needed to wake people up to how staffies are being so exploited by numpties.

It's been the problem here in Bristol for at least 10 years.

If you visit the dogs home you can guarantee to find whole litters of these.

Often they are not identified as Staff crosses to make them more appealing.

My good friends cousin has one that was described as a puppy as a Lab cross.  If the Police were very into enforcing the DDA hers would fit into 'Type' quite easily, large muscular and Red and white.
