there are plenty of similar products in the UK. It is just probiotics and digestive enzymes, doubt if there is any proven link with preventing bloat.

But did they bloat before...?
Could it be like the man who sprinkled gold dust on his lawn every day to keep away the tigers, but ignored the fact there were no tigers anyway?

Bloat is something that needs a great deal more research done on it. If there are any vet schools, health trusts or charities trying to get funding, then count me in. I know someone who works as a vet nurse for an emergency vet service and it truly shocks me how many GDVs come in on a weekly basis.

I've done a fair bit of reading / research on bloat, and agree there is very little conclusive evidence. Neapolitans alongside other large breeds are very prone. Personally I feed 3 meals a day to reduce meal sizes (four when younger), his breakfast is a smaller amount than other 2 meals - due to his stomach being empty of active enzymes / acids. Finally with his breakfast he has a probiotic yoghurt to try and kickstart his digestion system for the day.

These are just my personal seps, Bloat scares the life of me, as know a number of dogs who have died because of it. For the moment I think you just need to read as much as you can, and make an informed decision on what you think is best for your dog.
