Would sombody please clear something up for me.... If a puppy goes overseas does it need to have its export pedigree before it leaves or can it be sent on the the new owners? It just that a puppy needs to be there before 12 weeks old so the time scale it pretty tight for the paper work to get in.

You could send it on if it is not back in time before the puppy leaves but it will mean the new owners won't be able to register the puppy until it arrives.

Yes but the old scam they pull is returning the export pedigree application and ask for a further £12 to transfer the pup into new owners name before proceeding with the export cert..... catches me every time.

Ahh typical KC then!!

I will have the joy of doing all this with my next litter as one is hopefully going abroad.
