Any ideas why dogs poo has gone rather pale in colour?he's eating fish based food and his poos are normal size and well formed , just a different colour any thoughts? I'm phoning the vet in the morning

The colour of the poo depends on what they are eating.  When my dogs get bones, their poo turns white for a day or so afterwards.  I shouldn't worry too much.

As said by the other post, it usually depends on what they've eaten. i wouldn't panic especially if the poo is normal apart from the colour.

About to put my own post on here then saw this one - what would it mean if the poo had become pale and sloppy and more than usual lasting over a week. no signs of illness, dog recently on rimidyl but stopped until poo is normal.  Barf fed same as my others and they are fine with firm small dark poo's that turn white.  Any ideas?
