I have a 9 month old Scottie when she was 8 weeks old the Vet said she had a puppy heart mumur which disappeared. When she was spayed the vet didn't notice anything and said all was ok.
I took her for a check last night and the vet said she had an irregular heart rhytmn something beginning with an "A" I think he said it may not be serious as she is so active but it was worth her having an ECG just in case as it could be treated if needs be.
Anyone any idea? What condition could it be that was serious? She is mega active and never seems to tire? I just hope its minor, has anyone else had a similar problem!

The vet probably said she has 'arrhythmia', which simply mean irregular heartbeat.

Yes!! Thats exactly right!!!! Thats what he said it was!! Should I be worried about my very active Scottie??? He shows no symptoms at all?

I have arrhythmia myself, and it doesn't affect my lifestyle at all!
