Hi not sure if this is the right place to post this . I know the usual age for a 1st season is between 6 to 12 months , but has anyone had a bitch come in earlier than this .

A friend's Akita came in at 5 months.  The youngest any of my own have come in season is 7 months.

5 months is the earliest i've heard. This was a medium breed.

I once had a terrier bitch come in at 5 months.  She had the most horrendous phantom, and I had her spayed.

I know of a friends bitch that came in at just over 4 months
