Pleased to say I am getting some recall from her barking at last.  Before she was totally focussed on the cat/ bird/ dog passing etc but one day I just said come find - she usually knows that she gets a reward from finding something.  So she turned and ran in.  I was so pleased with her and made a huge fuss - I had the tuggy toy at hand and played with her - making it really exciting.  Then I gave her a nice treat.  Now she is starting to associated being called away from her barking by getting a worthwhile treat when she comes straight in - ie a good game.  Bought her a new tuggy at the weekend.  It won't stop her barking - there are times when I do want her to bark anyway - but at least I can control it without going all the way up the garden to get her.  Have planned a couple of gates but need a handyman (not my OH I am afraid)

Well done, I love that feeling, when whatever you've been trying finally 'happens'. I was dead chuffed with Vic on the weekend, we went to the busy beach and he didn't run off to see another dog without asking once so I am :) :) :)
